Right now, I’m in the middle of relocating from the mountains of Italy to Sardinia for the summer.

In the spirit of celebrating women, I want to talk a little bit about why an equal world is an enabled world.
Individually, we're responsible for our own thoughts and actions — all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden our perceptions, improve situations and recognise women's achievements.
And there’s power in numbers! As the IWD site says, collectively, each one of us can help create a gender-equal world.
Now, equality is a huge topic that we can never deep dive into in one blog post.
From a career perspective, we can all agree that women are far from being equal to men in terms of pay, recognition, and so on. But ladies, we’re getting there — and if we can pull together and support, build up and inspire each other and the younger generations of women, I think we’ll get there a lot faster.

Some people love January — they think it’s a time to refresh and reset. Some people like June, when the first signs of summer start to show and everything feels easy and breezy again.
For me, it’s February.
It’s always been a fabulous month for me, and the month where new things happen.
As a career coach, I know I probably should say January is my favourite month. I’ve written blogs about how January is a great time to assess your situation, review your goals, and kick-start the year in a positive way. But if you’re familiar with my work, you’ll know that I’m also very firm about one thing: If you don’t get to something in January, that’s no reason to give up.
That’s why I look at January as a warm up, and February as the time to truly make things happen.
